How do I create my Trading Sonar account?

Visit the registration page, enter your name, preferred username, email address and a strong password, then accept the terms of service. We immediately create your workspace and send a verification email.

Your email address becomes your primary login identifier and where we deliver alert digests, so please choose an inbox you actively monitor.

How do I verify my email and activate streaming data?

Click the secure link in the welcome message titled “Verify your Trading Sonar email”. The link routes you to /verify-email where we confirm the token and activate your account for live market feeds.

Links expire for security reasons. If your link has lapsed, return to the login page and choose “Resend verification”, or contact support so we can manually re-issue access.

I cannot log in — what should I check first?
  • Confirm you have a verified account and are using the correct email/username combination.
  • Reset your password from the forgot password page. We send a one-time reset link that is valid for 30 minutes.
  • Ensure your browser allows secure WebSocket connections; corporate firewalls occasionally block wss:// traffic.
  • If you use a password manager, re-copy the credential to avoid trailing whitespace or outdated passwords.

Still locked out? Reach us via contact form with the email tied to your account so we can verify and restore access.

Can I invite teammates today?

Team workspaces are part of the upcoming Plus roadmap. For now every credential is single-user. If shared access is mission critical for your desk, drop us a note through the contact page — we are onboarding collaboration features with selected partners first.

What powers the live market data inside Trading Sonar?

We stream core prices directly from the Binance institutional WebSocket endpoint and enrich them with in-house analytics for delta, momentum and liquidity. The home page ticker shows BTC, ETH, SOL and BNB in real time and the analytical pages extend to the full symbol universe refreshed continuously.

Connections auto-retry if your network briefly drops. A yellow “Reconnecting” indicator on the page means we are back-off retrying — keep the tab open and the feed resumes without data loss.

How do the specialised dashboards differ?
  • Price Change ranks the strongest movers by configurable timeframe and lets you flip winners and losers instantly.
  • RSI Change and RSI Levels focus on momentum extremes to help you spot exhaustion before price reversals develop.
  • Open Interest and Liquidations follow derivatives positioning so you can see leverage building or being unwound.
Can I adjust timeframes, sorting and symbols?

Each dashboard exposes filters at the top of the view. Use the timeframe pills to pivot between 1m, 5m, 15m, 1h, 4h and 1d changes, toggle between ascending/descending order, and expand the tables to reveal additional columns such as last price or cumulative change.

Symbols are pre-curated to cover the highest-liquidity instruments on Binance Futures. We are expanding coverage to additional venues — let us know which exchanges are most important for you.

Why do I occasionally see a pause in updates?

Short pauses typically align with exchange maintenance or local network throttling. Trading Sonar automatically buffers the latest snapshot and replays updates once connectivity is restored. If the issue persists for more than a minute, refresh the page or check our status banner for live advisories.

Where do I manage my profile details?

Navigate to Account → Profile. Update your display name, username, email address and optional phone number. All edits require you to save the section; we instantly reflect the change in the header and future communications.

How do I change my password or enable two-factor authentication?

Open Account → Security to swap your password securely. We enforce strong password rules and confirm the change with an email alert.

The same panel includes the two-factor authentication toggle. When enabled, we prompt for a time-based one-time password (TOTP) on every login. If you don’t see the toggle yet, your workspace is queued for the roll-out — let us know and we can prioritise access.

What notification controls are available?

Inside Account → Preferences you can opt into daily market digests, real-time alert emails and choose your timezone and language. Timezone adjustments immediately rebase all percentage-change windows, countdown timers and timestamps across the app.

Email alerts respect your plan limits (Free includes five smart alerts, Plus unlocks unlimited alerts). You will never receive marketing mail without explicit consent.

How can I report a bug or ask for a feature?

Use the dedicated Bug Report form for reproducible issues (screenshots, steps to replicate and expected vs. actual behaviour help us triage quickly). For roadmap ideas or partnership discussions, drop a note through our contact channel.

Which plans does Trading Sonar offer?

We currently ship three tiers:

  • Free — core market coverage, five smart alerts and community access.
  • Plus — advanced screeners, unlimited alerts, AI-driven signals and premium templates.
  • Pro — institutional data feeds, API/webhook access and white-glove onboarding (entering private beta soon).
How do I upgrade to Plus?

Go to Account → Membership, choose the Plus plan, then generate a payment session. We display the BNB Smart Chain address, expected token amount and a QR code. Submit the exact amount within the 30-minute window — confirmations appear automatically once the transaction settles on-chain.

Which payment methods are supported today?

We currently accept crypto payments over BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20). Stablecoins and BNB are supported, with live exchange rates shown inside the payment drawer. Traditional card payments are on our roadmap; let us know if you prefer early access to fiat billing.

Where can I review previous invoices or payment history?

The membership tab keeps every session and its status (pending, completed, underpaid or expired). Click a history entry to reveal the transaction hash, amount received and timestamps. Need a formal invoice for compliance? Use the export option inside the membership panel or reach us via support and we will generate a PDF receipt.

Is there an API I can build on top of?

The public API ships with the Pro plan. Because the Pro plan flag is currently disabled in this environment, we are finalising documentation and authentication. Join the waitlist from the membership tab or message us via contact to be added to the private beta.

Can I export data to my own analytics stack?

CSV exports and webhook delivery are rolling out with the same Pro release. In the meantime, Plus members can leverage browser-based CSV exports from each table (File → Print → Save to CSV in most modern browsers) and our team is happy to deliver scheduled snapshots on request.

Do you integrate with Slack, Discord or Telegram alerts?

Native chat integrations are under active development. If real-time alert routing to collaboration tools is essential, let us know which channel your team uses so we prioritise the connector that creates the most value for you.

The market data panels look frozen — what can I do?

First confirm your internet connection. If you see the reconnect banner, keep the tab open for a few seconds while we renegotiate the WebSocket. Switching networks (for example Wi-Fi → mobile hotspot) can reset the session instantly.

Clearing cached app data (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R) forces a fresh bundle download. If this does not help, review the status banner on the home page or reach out through our contact channel so we can inspect the exchange feed in real time.

My upgrade payment still shows as pending.

Blockchain confirmations can take a few minutes. Keep the payment drawer open; we poll the status every 15 seconds. If the status remains pending after 10 minutes, confirm the transaction hash and that you sent the exact amount on BNB Smart Chain. Provide the hash through the membership support prompt so we can reconcile it manually.

How is my data protected?

We apply bank-grade TLS everywhere, encrypt sensitive profile fields at rest and monitor every login for anomalies. Two-factor authentication and session revocation are available under Account → Security, and we never store payment keys on our servers — crypto payments are processed through signed, ephemeral addresses.
